Make Bottle Cap Magnets at Artlink

The public is invited to join Deb Washler, Artlink’s Executive Director and ace crafter, as she demonstrates how to make bottle cap magnets. The mini-workshop will be held on Tuesday, February 24 at 6:00 p.m. at Artlink, 435 E. Berry Street. Participants will learn how to affix little pieces of art to the inside of a bottle cap using a low-odor resin that seals the artwork. A magnet is then attached to the backside, creating a delightful art item. While waiting for the resin to dry, participants will be invited to enjoy refreshments and view the current Artlink exhibit.

Artlink will provide the resin, magnets, bottle caps and snacks for the workshop. Artists should bring markers, pencils, magazines (with small images or patterns), and a small box with a cover (e.g., shoe box). Cost for the workshop is $5 for Artlink members, $8 for non-members.
